Colloidal amorphous silica is a product based on micronized silicon dioxide (SiO2) powder. The in large demand the market due to its outstanding adsorption properties. It widely known as AEROSIL®. AEROSIL® technology use of tetrachloride (SiCl4) raw material component, which determines cost, energy and environmental assessments process. One ways improve these technical economic find solutions that eliminate SiCl4 from process producing quartz As an alternative technology, we consider plasma processes for production nano-powders according scheme eliminates need produce SiCl4. In proposed scheme, produced using with direct natural source – quartzite. realized by sequence technological operations activation quartzite particles deep energy-efficient purification at molecular level, allows obtain ultrafine high purity. Performing low temperatures without consumption melting materials, complete regeneration reagents us meet requirements cost-effectiveness, efficiency friendliness production.
